What is your return and refund policy?
- HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at howdy@hillcountryoutfitters.com - If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns involving affiliate vendor Purchases
- Affiliate vendors may have differing return policies. Please contact that affiliate directly for their individual details and processes.
- Damages and Issues
- Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us and the affiliate vendor (if applicable) immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we and/or the affiliate vendor can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Exceptions / non-returnable items
- Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds on purchases
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If the refund is approved, you will be issued a digital gift card to use on our store within 180 days.

How long does shipping take?
- Shipping Methods
- HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM strives to ship all orders out within 1-3 days, however, during high volume times such as special events and sales. Orders may be delayed 5-7 business days or longer in rare cases.
- Shipping
- Shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges for refused and/or returned shipments and this charge will be added to the invoice total. Shipping/insurance costs are prepaid. All items are shipped “best way” via USPS, UPS, or FEDEX. Out-of-stock items will be shipped according to the availability of products. Dimensions/oversize weights are applied to freight charges when applicable.
Back Orders
- If your order contains a pre-ordered item, or a back-ordered item, or special-order item, the entire order will ship once all items are in stock.
- Damage/Loss
- All claims for damage/pilferage must be filed with the delivery carrier. HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM cannot file this for you. All claims for shortage/mis-shipments/mis-billing must be made within 10 days of receipt. In the event of a faulty product the product must be returned as previously described, at which point we will ship out a replacement product. Disclaimers: Although we try to ensure accuracy, HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM cannot be responsible for typographical errors or image discrepancies on our Web Site or any affiliate vendor web sites. Should links for any product on HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM become “broken”, and if or when the article linked to is moved or removed by the host on its server HILLCOUNTRYOUTFITTERS.COM is not responsible.

- Import laws and regulations

In some countries, supplements are restricted for imports to a 90-day supply and must be for your own personal use. Losses incurred due to exceeding your country’s limitations will not be refunded.
